🎂 Come Cheer with Bran on his 30th Spin Around the Sun 🌍✨

Since I work in logistics, this won’t be just a simple one-day celebration, but a full birthday logistics operation 😃 After the (un)official Prague weekend part ends… the journey continues 🚀

🌙 We take a comfortable night train to Košice 🚆💤, wake up refreshed, enjoy breakfast on wheels ☕🥐, and discover a new city 🏛️.

✈️ In the evening, we fly to Bratislava, stay one night 🏨, and explore the capital 🏰🌆.

🏔️ Then we move to Banská Bystrica, my hometown 🏡.

💃🕺 Finally, we head to the Východná Folk Festival under the High Tatras 🏔️, full of music 🎶, dance 💃, culture 🎭, and food 🍲.

🌟 Why These Places?

I know your question may arise: how is this going to be possible, how much will it cost, and why these places. Each of them has a strong meaning for me and has played an important part in my life, and I am sure you will fall in love with them as well.

🏰 Prague (27-28.06.)

It’s the place where I decided to move and where I currently live 🏰. We will stay in Prague for one night, from Saturday to Sunday. If you prefer your own accommodation (hotel, Airbnb), I will be glad to help you find the best one. If you prefer to stay together, this is the place a&o Prague Rhea check-in starts at 15:00 on Saturday, but you can leave your luggage earlier. This accommodation costs 20€ per person in 4-bed rooms.

😍 Košice (29.06.)

Košice is the second biggest city in Slovakia and my absolute favorite 😍. The night train (with sleeping beds) from Prague to Košice costs 45€, including breakfast and coffee.

🎓 Bratislava (29-30.06.)

It’s the capital of Slovakia and the city where I studied and spent my university years 👨🏻‍🎓. The 50-minute flight from Košice to Bratislava currently costs 20€ (this might increase later). Accommodation in Bratislava is still to be decided.

👶 Banská Bystrica (30.06. - 02.07.)

It’s the place where I was born, where I come from, and where I spent my early childhood 👶🏻. As my guest in my hometown, you will stay at my place :)

🎻 Východná (02-05.07.)

It’s a picturesque place with an amazing view of the High Tatras mountains that hosts the Summer Folk Festival 💃🏻. As you might know, folk dancing is my latest obsession. But the festival is not just about the dancing, it is full of music, culture, workshops, and food. There couldn’t be a better cherry on top of the birthday week. 4-day festival ticket costs 40€.

🤝 Important information

You can join for the full week 🌍 or just for the Prague weekend 🏙️. Totally flexible. I would be glad if we could enjoy all of this together, but I understand that you might not be interested in the week-long adventure or your availability may be limited. Therefore, it’s completely okay if you want to join only part of the week or stay only for the weekend (27–28.06) in Prague.
